自分で着メロを良く打ち込んでしまう私ですが
最近限界を感じています。
いつも、適当にMIDIで打ち込んで、SMAF形式というYAMAHAの着メロ形式に変換して、着メロにしていたのだが、
そのまま変換すると、どうもMIDIを作るときにイメージした音と比べると、安っぽい音になってしまうのが不満だ。
どうやら、SMAFは音を作ることから始めなきゃいけないらしい。はっきりいってめんどくさい。
アルゴリズムとかいうのを駆使して音作りをするらしく、なんとその説明が携帯電話の説明書にも書いてあったが理解するのはむずかしい・・・・
SMAFの利点として作った音はどこのメーカーの携帯を使っても同じ音が出ることがあげられる。
auとvodafoneは、着信メロディーにSMAF形式を採用してるので、vodafoneで作った曲と同じ音色がauの機種でも再生される。それはすごいことだ。
MIDIの弱点は音源（使ってるパソコンとかメーカーとか外付けMIDI）によって曲の雰囲気ががらっと変わってしまうことだし・・・・・
どんどん高レベルになる着信メロディー技術、、、、
ついて行く気が失せました。
結論
着メロはオリジナル以外は有料サイトからダウンロードするのが一番手っ取り早いってこと。
auは着うたができるから、わざわざ作る必要はないね。
